This is awesome.... Have you ever heard of Ted Dekker? He's an author, and writes pretty awesome stuff, like the Circle series. Anyways, he wrote a book called "Martyr's Song." I don't know how the story ends (because it's the first in a series,) but your poem reminded me of it.
